The Countdown is On: Welcome Back to Lochside!

Only a handful of days left until the start of the 2025–26 school year! We hope you had a restful and fun-filled summer. On behalf of the Lochside Elementary Parent Advisory Council (LEPAC), we’re so excited to welcome both returning families and those who are new to our school community.

join the Lochside family!

☕ Let’s Start the Year Together! ☕

To kick things off, LEPAC is hosting a Welcome Table on Tuesday, September 3rd during morning drop-off (8:00–8:30am). Stop by for coffee, Timbits, and a friendly hello—we’d love to meet you!

We’re also looking for a couple of volunteers to help with setup (7:50am) and cleanup (by 8:45am). If you’re available and willing, please send us a quick note at lochsidepac63@gmail.com—thank you!

How We Stay in Touch

• Monthly Meetings – Our first meeting of the year is on Tuesday, September 9 at 6:30pm in the Learning Commons. Everyone is welcome, and childminding is provided!

• Weekly Email Updates – We aim to send updates every Sunday. Make sure you're subscribed to our newsletter so you don’t miss important information and upcoming events.

• Facebook – Follow us at facebook.com/LochsidePAC for reminders, updates, and fun community highlights.

Get Involved

Volunteers are the heart of LEPAC, and this year, we’re hoping to grow that heart even bigger! Many volunteer roles are flexible, and every helping hand makes a difference. Here are just a few of the opportunities we’re looking to fill:

• Communications Coordinator

• Fun Lunch Coordinator Apprentice – Learn the ropes and help with planning

• Fun Lunch Volunteers – Fridays, once or twice a month

• Popcorn Volunteers – Usually on Wednesdays, once a month

• Fresh for Kids Volunteers – Prep fruit & veggie trays a few times a month

• Welcome Picnic Volunteers – Help us out on September 18th

• Grade 5 Grad Planning Committee
