Hello Lochside Community!

1. Thank You! A huge thank-you to Salena and Christina who organized such a fun Halloween Party and thank you to the many helpers and those who attended — it was a big success and so much fun! Events like this are what make our Lochside so wonderful. 🎃

2. Card Project – Priority Deadline Today Today is the priority deadline for the Card Project! Don’t miss out on getting your orders in before the holiday rush — the finished products make great gifts. Order by Sunday, November 2 to be part of the priority delivery (week of November 24–28).

   Final deadline: Sunday, November 16 (delivery week of December 8–12).

   Order at www.TheCardProject.ca using our school code LX62.

This is a wonderful fundraising initiative — LEPAC receives 20% of all sales

3. Construction & Traffic Safety Reminder With ongoing construction on Lochside Drive, there is no access or safe turnaround in that area. The side staff parking lot is for staff only and not suitable for drop-off or 3-point turns.

   
   

   Please continue to use the front drop-off lane (supervision starts at 8:25 a.m.). It’s been running smoothly thanks to everyone’s cooperation!

   
   

   If you prefer to walk your child to class, please see the attached map for nearby community parking options and walk times.Thank you for your patience and commitment to keeping everyone safe.

   
   

4. Popcorn Helpers Needed – November 5 🍿 We need two volunteers for popcorn day on Tuesday, November 12. If you can help, please email us at lochsidepac63@gmail.com We can’t run popcorn day without your help!

   
   

5. Russell Book Fair – November 4 & 5 The Russell Book Fair is coming this week! Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:

   Nov 4: 8:15–8:40, 11:15–12:20, 1:45–3:15

   Nov 5: 1:45–3:15 (2 slots available)Please sign up here if you can help.

   
   

6. Lochside Spirit Wear – Shop Now! Show your school pride! The Spirit Wear Shop is open until November 9 — this is the only chance to order this school year. Orders will be ready around December 11. 💡 Missed the Grade 5 Grad Wear? Order a Lochside Hoodie and we can send you the signed “26” PDF to print yourself on the back!

   
   

7. November LEPAC Meeting – November 18 Join us for our next LEPAC meeting on Tuesday, November 18, 6:30–8:00 p.m. Childminding will be provided — all Lochside parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend.
