Weekly Update: November 23, 2025

1. Thank you!

   Thank you to everyone who participated in our November LEPAC meeting! It was the last one of the year as we always take a break in busy December. Next meeting will be January 13, 2026!

   
   

   A big thank you to those who supported our Card Project and Purdy's Fundraisers. We were able to come very close to raising our fundraising goals!

   
   
   
   

2. Chocolate Sorting
   

   If you're interested in feeling like a holiday elf in Santa's workshop, please come help us sort our chocolate order! We are expecting the order to arrive on November 28th or into the following week. Sorting will take place around 5pm. Please email Anya anya.rodenburgh@gmail.com if you're interested in helping!

   
   

3. Holiday Book Shop Our very popular Holiday Book Shop will be running December 8-9. Please have your child bring a donation of $2 per book so that they can shop for a gift or two for their loved ones!

   
   

   In December, we will be gladly taking donations of gently used books that are appropriate as regifts - please no text books, manuals or religious texts.

   Half of the proceeds will be donated to the food bank. Thank you so much for your support!

   
   

4. Board Game Night We are so excited to be able to host this event on December 5th.

   
   

   Come out for a nice evening of board games with your family. Learn a new game, socialize and grab some snacks too. We will be putting out a signup sheet for volunteers soon but if you are interested in volunteering, skip the wait and email us at lochsidepac63@gmail.com.

   

   
   
   
   

5. Winter Plant Fundraiser in open for two more weeks. Please support the Grade 5 Class of 2026! They need to sell at least 71 more plants to reach their goal - All funds raised go to support the activities of this year's Grade 5 Committee, including the Grade 4-5 trip to Camp Imadene. https://lochsideelementary.growingsmilesfundraising.com/home

6. Lochside Coffee Sales

   LEPAC will be selling Lochside branded coffee again this year. It makes for a great holiday gift!

Look for details in your child's backpack soon but if you're eager, you can order right away from the Fun Lunch website. Thank you for your support!
