Hello Lochside Community!

Looks like a busy but fun week ahead! Thank you to everyone who has helped make this fall season so special already.

1. 🎃 LEPAC Halloween Party – Thursday, October 30 | 5–7:30 PM

Join us for a spooktacular evening of dancing, music, and fun! Costumes encouraged.

Cash and card payments accepted for:

Food tickets: $5
Candy/Popcorn tickets: $2
Games tickets: $1

A huge thank you to Salena, Christine, and Tera who have been working hard on this event. Thank you also to everyone who has signed up to help so far. We still have quite a few volunteer spots that need filling in order to make the event a success!👉 Sign up to volunteer here

We are also requesting cupcake donations for our very popular cupcake walk. Cupcakes can be brought to the LEPAC kitchen on the day of the event.

If you'd like to make a song request for DJ Tera, please post it here. Requests are open until Tuesday, October 28th.

2. Screamfest Tickets

A reminder that Lochside has tickets for Wednesday, October 29th available for $10 each at the office.

Screamfest will be running at Claremont Secondary this Tuesday to Thursday. You may also try to buy tickets at the door.

3. Literary Pumpkins!

Always a popular event! Students are encouraged to bring in their decorated Literary Pumpkin to the Learning Commons before 9am on Wednesday, October 29th.

4. The Card Project – Ready for Viewing and Purchase

Orders are now open for The Card Project! See your child’s artwork printed on beautiful, quality products.

Order by Sunday, November 2 to be part of the priority delivery (week of November 24–28).
Final deadline: Sunday, November 16 (delivery week of December 8–12).
Order at www.TheCardProject.ca using our school code LX62.

This is a wonderful fundraising initiative — LEPAC receives 20% of all sales.

5. 👕 Lochside Spirit Wear – Shop Now!

Show your school pride! The Spirit Wear Shop is now open — this will be the only opportunity to order spirit wear this school year.

Orders can be placed through the store link until November 9th and will be ready around December 11th.

6. Book Fair

The Russell Book Fair is coming Tuesday, November 4 and Wednesday, November 5!

Volunteers are needed — this is a great way to get books into our classrooms and support our Learning Commons. Please see the attached poster for volunteer details.

7. 💰 LEPAC Budget Approved

The 2025–26 LEPAC budget was approved at our last meeting and can now be viewed on our website.
