Hello Lochside Families! 🎃

It’s been a busy and exciting start to October — thank you for your energy and support! Here are this week’s updates and reminders:

1) Thank You, Fun Lunch Volunteers!

A huge thank you to all the incredible volunteers who helped make our first Fun Lunch of the year such a success! Your efforts keep these special days running smoothly — we’re so grateful for your time and enthusiasm.

2) Lochside Halloween Dance – October 30! 🕸️

The Lochside Halloween Dance is officially locked in for Wednesday, October 30, from 5–7:30 PM!

Thank you so much to the amazing parents who have stepped up to coordinate this spooky-fun event.

This event depends on volunteers! Please sign up for a shift or two here

There will be music, games, activities, a costume walk, popcorn and candy sales, and Hot Dog & Juice Box Combos available for purchase.

3) Coupon Book Fundraiser – Final Call 📘

The Coupon Book Sale has now wrapped up! This is the last call for payments and unsold books — please return them as soon as possible. We’ll be following up individually if books aren’t returned… (how seriously we take that threat remains to be seen 😄).Thank you for making this fundraiser such a success!

4) The Card Project is Back! 🎨

See your child’s artwork turned into beautiful, high-quality cards and gifts — perfect for holiday giving!

5) Parent Learning Opportunity: Sidestepping the Power Struggle

Join Dr. Alison Rees for a practical parenting course that explores temperament, development, regulation, discipline, and building effective family relationships — for parents of children of all ages!
