Hello Lochside families!

Welcome back to a brand new school year! We’re so excited to kick things off with you all. Thank you for the warm energy during the first week—here are a few quick highlights and reminders as we head into our first full week of school.

1) Big Thanks! 💚

A huge thank you to Kelsey and Kaylee for hosting the LEPAC welcome table during the first week, and to everyone who stopped by to say hello, ask questions, or offer support. It was wonderful to see so many friendly faces!

We also want to send our appreciation to Lochside’s incredible staff and administration for a smooth and successful start to the school year. Your hard work and care have not gone unnoticed—thank you!

2) First LEPAC Meeting of the Year – Sept 9

Tuesday, September 9 | 6:30-8:00PM | Learning Commons

Come join us for our first LEPAC meeting of the school year!

All parents and caregivers are welcome. Child-minding will be available for Lochside students during the meeting.

It’s a great opportunity to connect with LEPAC, hear about what’s happening at the school first-hand from our school administration, and find ways to get involved—big or small!

3) Fun Lunch – Ordering Now Open!

Fun Lunches are back! Ordering is officially live on our Hot Lunch website: https://lochside.hotlunches.net/

You will need to make a new account, even if you are a returning family. School code is LSHL

Our first Fun Lunch will be held on October 3 Volunteers are always needed and appreciated—so please keep an eye out for our sign up sheet in future communications. A huge thank you to those who have already emailed us offering to help!

4) LEPAC Package - Coming this week

Please check your child's backpacks this coming week for our September Startup Package. A big thank you to Cari and Nicole in the office who have been a huge help in printing and stapling all of the LEPAC packages.

Nicole could use a hand tomorrow with distributing packages to classrooms. If you're available for an hour tomorrow, please email Nicole asap nclintonbaker@saanichschools.ca and let her know you can help out. Thank you!
