Weekly Update: February 16, 2026

Hello Lochside Families,

We hope you all enjoyed a lovely Valentine’s Day and Family Day long weekend!

Thank you, as always, for taking the time to read our Weekly Updates and stay connected with our school community.

Thank You – Cupcake Sale

A big thank you to all the families who baked cupcakes and to the volunteers who helped with distribution last week. Your time and generosity made the event such a sweet success! We truly appreciate the support for our Grade 5 students and their upcoming celebrations.

Thank you for helping us grow this fundraiser!

Pink Shirt Day – February 25

Grade 5 Fundraising & Bottle Drive – March 1

Dear Grade 5 Families,

Only a few more months remain before our Grade 5 students enjoy their celebratory events! A small but dedicated group of parent volunteers has been working hard to make the graduates’ final days at Lochside memorable. Planning these special events takes teamwork, and every bit of participation helps.

Our next fundraising event is a Bottle Drive on Sunday, March 1 from 10:00am–2:00pm.

If you haven’t yet had a chance to volunteer or contribute, this is a wonderful opportunity to get involved.

Purdy’s Spring Chocolate Sale 🍫

Our Purdy’s Spring Chocolate Sale is underway and will continue until March 20.

Please keep an eye out for brochures in your child’s backpack and consider sharing with friends and family. Funds raised go toward LEPAC initiatives — we’re hoping to purchase a big new popcorn machine soon!
