Hello, Lochside! Wow! 2 weeks left before winter break! Please check out our updates/reminders below:

1) Sign Ups Available: Virtual Wish Tree

2) REMINDER: The LEPAC Treasurer Hunt Continues...

3) Time Sensitive: ROMS Bottle Drive Europe 2025

The Royal Oak Middle School Europe 2025 Group is hosting a bottle drive on Sunday, Dec. 15th between 9am and 2pm in the parking lot at Lochside Elementary School.

The purpose of the bottle drive is to raise funds as a group, and to build rapport amongst the students and community support.

P.S. Lochside families: please keep your bottles after the ROMS drive, and into the holidays, for our grade 5 bottle drive and tree chipping event on Jan 4.

4) Thank You: Holiday Bookshop

The Holiday Bookshop was a success!

HUGE THANKS for all who supported the book shop and to the volunteers.

We collectively raised $807.50, half of which goes directly to The Mustard Seed and the other half to PAC. Happy reading!

💜 Fun lunch reminders:

Please make sure to send your kiddo(s) with lunch if you do not plan to purchase fun lunch.
If you do order, it's a good idea to send your kiddo(s) with some options to complement the fun lunch if they are picky eaters.
If your child is absent the day of the fun lunch, please be aware that they may forfeit the lunch, as it may may not keep for long or get donated.

Our final 2024 Fun Lunch is this Fri. Dec 13 (Dominos). Orders closed Dec. 5th.

Our first 2025 Fun Lunch will be announced soon! Thank you for participating in 2024.

Save the date SATURDAY, JANUARY 4 - TREE CHIPPING & BOTTLE DRIVE
Our grade 5 students will be hosting this fundraiser in our school parking lot. All funds go to directly offset costs for grade 5 activities. More information to come. Thank you for saving your trees and empties for the school!
