Weekly Update: December 7, 2025

Hello Lochside Families!

We hope you all had a relaxing weekend and are staying warm as the holiday spirit continues to grow around the school. Below are this week’s updates—thank you, as always, for being such an engaged and supportive community!

Thank You for a Wonderful Board Game Night!

A huge thank-you to the Boardgame Café and to Kelsey for hosting such a cozy, welcoming, and fun-filled Board Game Night! We had a good turnout. Thank you to all the Lizards and their families who came out to learn new games, enjoy a relaxed evening together, and connect with others. Events like these truly make our community shine!

Holiday Book Shop – Starts Tomorrow! (Dec 8–9)

Our beloved Holiday Book Shop is almost here! Please send $2 in with your child tomorrow. Students will have the chance to purchase giftable books for loved ones for $2 each on Monday and Tuesday. Proceeds from the book shop will go to the Mustard Seed and LEPAC.

We are very short on donations. If you’re able to contribute gently used, gift-appropriate books, please drop them off by 8am tomorrow morning in the foyer bin. We also gladly accept gift bags and wrapping paper.

If it is tricky to get your books/wrapping in tomorrow morning, there is a spot by the entrance setup right now where you can drop off. Please be sure to not block the entrance and keep donations safe from water.

Thank you so much for helping make this magical event possible for our students!

If you are able to volunteer at the book shop, please sign up here

Food Drive – December 1–12

Our Holiday Food Drive is underway, supporting both Lochside families and the Mustard Seed—however, our foyer is still looking very empty.
