Hello Lochside Families,

As we head into the final week of the school year, we'd like to take a moment to thank our amazing school community for all of your support, enthusiasm, and volunteerism throughout the year. Here are a few updates for this week.

🎉 Thank You for a Wonderful Year-End Picnic!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Year-End Picnic such a wonderful success! From our dedicated volunteers and staff to our vendors and all the families who came out to participate, we are so grateful for the time, energy, and community spirit that made the event so special.

A special thank you as well to our freezie helpers and Fun Lunch volunteers who helped keep everyone cool, happy, and well-fed during Fun Day. Events like these are only possible because of the incredible support of our school community.

🎓 Grade 5 Graduation Assembly on Tuesday

This Tuesday, June 23rd, we will be celebrating our Grade 5 students as they prepare to move on to middle school.

The Grade 5 Graduation Assembly will begin at 9:00 am, with doors opening at 8:45 am. Due to space limitations, attendance is limited to two family members per graduating student.

Following the assembly, families are invited to join students in the courtyard for photos before students head off to Island View Beach for a special year-end celebration with their classmates and staff.

We look forward to recognizing and celebrating this important milestone with our Grade 5 students and families!

📚 School Supplies for Next Year

Information about the Monk Office school supply program for the upcoming school year will be shared soon. Keep an eye out for a separate message with ordering details and the link once everything has been finalized.

☀️ Last Day of School on Thursday, June 25

A friendly reminder that Thursday, June 25th will be the last day of school before summer break begins.

We wish all of our students, staff, and families a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer. Thank you for helping make this school year such a memorable one. We look forward to seeing everyone again in September!
