Hello Lochside Families,

We hope you had a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break! It has been a quiet couple of weeks for updates, but we are hitting the ground running with plenty to catch up on—please read on for all the details!

📚 Thank you for supporting the Lochside Book Fair!

A message from our Learning Commons teacher Laura Molloy:

Thank you to all the parents and guardians who supported the Book Fair and made it a success. We were able to purchase some books that: students had requested, needed to be replaced and updated popular series. We so appreciate the PAC's support and partnership with the Book Fair; another success!

LEPAC April Meeting

Who: All Lochside parents and caregivers invited

When: Tuesday, April 14 from 6:30-8pm

Where: Learning Commons

Why: Learn about what’s happening at your child’s school, support initiatives, build community!  

Bonus: Snacks and childminding provided

Home Alone Preparedness Program

LEPAC is excited to be hosting the Home Alone Preparedness Program for Youth!

Who: Lizards aged 9 and up

When: April 8th from 3-5:30

Where: Learning Commons

The cost is $35/student and includes a light snack. If cost is an issue, please email the school admin and LEPAC can help.

There is room for 30 participants.

Fun Lunch Helpers

Our next Fund Lunch is April 10^th. We still have many volunteer slots available. Please sign up! This is a fun way to make your lizards proud by surprising them at lunch time!

Grade 5 Spring Plant Sale 🌱

Our Grade 4s and 5s need to sell 25 more plants to reach their goal! Let’s show some support – you can even share with family and friends! Orders are open until April 20th.

Ongoing Fundraisers

• Donate to LEPAC: Available through the SD63 Online Payments.

• Country Grocer Receipts: Keep dropping those off in the foyer box! A huge shout-out to our volunteer, Julie B, for keeping these organized.

• Mabel’s Labels: Great for making sure those Spring jackets actually come home!

• Bottle Depot: Just mention “Lochside Elementary PAC” at the counter.
