Lochside Holiday Giving – Dec 1–12

Our annual Holiday Giving Program kicks off this week! From December 1–12, we will be collecting items for our school food drive as well as contributions to our Virtual Wish Tree, supporting both Lochside families in need and our local food bank.

If you are able, please consider donating non-perishable food items or choosing a wish to fulfill from the virtual tree. Your generosity makes a tremendous difference—thank you for helping us spread kindness this season!

Grade 5 Winter Plant Sale – Deadline Tonight

A quick update that tonight is the final night to place your order for the Grade 5 Winter Plant Fundraiser!

All proceeds support the Grade 5 Committee activities, including the Grade 4–5 trip to Camp Imadene. If you haven’t ordered yet, there’s still time—thank you for helping our Grade 5s reach their goal of 51 more plants to sell!

Family Games Night – December 5

We are so excited to welcome everyone to Games Night in the gym this Friday, December 5 from 6-8pm!

Bring your family for an evening of fun, learning new games, connecting with others, and enjoying a relaxed night together.

Entrance is by donation. Pizza and snacks will be available for purchase.

We can’t wait to see you there!

Holiday Book Shop – Donations & Volunteers Needed

Our much-loved Holiday Book Shop is running December 8-9 and we’re still collecting donations!

Please bring gently used, gift-appropriate books to the foyer donation bin. (We kindly ask for no textbooks, manuals, or religious texts.) We could also use donations of gift bags and wrapping paper.

We also need parent volunteers to help sort and support the shop while students do their holiday “shopping.”

Half of the proceeds from sales will go to the Mustard Seed.

Lochside Coffee Fundraiser

We’re happy to share that Lochside-branded coffee is back again this year — perfect for holiday gifting or cozy winter mornings!

Order forms were emailed out last week, and orders can be placed through the Fun Lunch website. Thank you for supporting this PAC initiative!

Chocolate Sorting – Volunteers Needed (Dec 1 at 6pm)

We are so excited to have received thousands of dollars’ worth of chocolate for our Lochside families and friends!

All of these orders will now need to be sorted and delivered to classrooms. We are having  a Chocolate Sorting Night on Monday, December 1st from 6:00–8:00pm in the Lochside Learning Commons.

It’s fun and many hands make light work —we would truly appreciate your help!
